This might sound like a stupid question... I just bought a video capture card, and it works great! But when i capture the video there is no audio with it. I tried hooking up the audio cables from my tv to the audio in, on my computer but that doesn't work. My question is, do most computers come with audio cards for capturing or will i have to buy one?

I would guess you have to hook up a cable on the inside of your pc from the audio out on the capture card to audio in of your sound card, just like a cd-rom. Just a guess I could be wrong. Good luck.

My main question is, do most standard video cards that come in computers allow you to capture audio from a t.v, like a video card? Because my video card works great but there is no sound to go with it...

No, the standard video cards that come with your computer, is just that, a video card. You would need to plug in the audio to your soundcard to capture the audio.

If you have to hook up your audio to a different card(soundcard), most likely you won't get the audio and video put together. Unless your Video Capture card has an audio "in" on it, I don't think you'll be able to capture your audio with the video(could be wrong).

You could get an ATI All-in-Wonder and capture video and audio with it.

Have you tried reading your Help file or manual that came with the card to see why you're not getting sound and if it's even able to capture audio along with the video? Just a thought.
