I was wondering if anyone has any experience dialing up to the internet on a pc using a cell phone as a modem. I have an Ericsson R278d and installed the driver and when I try to connect to the internet, I get a message that the modem has failed. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. Do I need a special ISP to connect to the internet with a cell phone? I have a dual boot system with windows xp and 98 on it. Can't get it to work with either one. Thanks.

make sure you cell phone service is setup for internet transmit.

There are other options also like a wireless modem, they work great
