sorry if this is a dumb question but im not clued up about pcs.
ive got a few floppy discs, 1.0 Mb in size but when i try to format them pc only offers me option of 720K or 1.44M. how can i use the full 1 meg?

but do they really need to be formatted? Can u actually save stuff on them? Or are they mac formatted or somthing

1 MB is the unformated disk space of a 720KB formated floppy. Sorry but there is no way for you to load 1 MB of info onto the disk. Therefore, when you are ask to format the disk you need to choose 720 KB.
