I'm trying to transfer some HI8 mm tape to a cd. I record thge tapes to my hard drive using ATI AIW 7500, which saves them as avi files. I'm using ULEAD Video Studio 5 to do the editing, but I get a file format not recognized error. I think I need to convert these files to MPEG or another type of file. This is new to me so I am confused on how to do this. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.
