Have you tried starting in safe mode?
I believe you can adjust the refesh rate from there.

Wolfy is right, when it starts up you should be able to put it into VGA mode being NT4

Bring it down to about 80-90hz, that should be enough

I tried starting in vga mode and running last know good..... Still nothing.
What I guess I will do is run through the login blind and change the settings with keyboard.

Don't run last kown good, put it in VGA mode and go straight in to the desktop change it there and reboot
