I recently downloaded both discs off of the net and extracted the .bin files to a folder then installed. Now when I try to play the game at the title screen it says "Please insert disc 2". So I burn the .bin file with CDRWin and it still gives me this message. When it asks for disk two it doesn't even scan the cd-rom drive though :confused: ? The file names are
dev-gt3a.bin dev-gt3p.bin.

You need to use a crack. The game is protected with SafeDisc2. Also seem to recall that there were problems with the crack on the original ISO's. I posted the fixed EXE somewhere around here. Have a search.

Since its the deviance release then I think any crack will work as long as the have b-loader. But if use that you will have no sound. Try celtic_druid's patch and if it doesn't work and don't care about sound then try the b-loader at www.gamecopyworld.com .

If you want sound then search through all the audio files on disc 2 and play all of them and find the corrupt audio files. replace those with any working audio file. Make sure these audio files are copied to your audio folder in your GTA 3 directory.

I did replace the .exe file with the cracked one. The game starts fine but then asks for the second disk

Then try b-loader but you won't get sound.

Or copy all the audio files off cd2 to the audio directory in the GTA3 directory. Then play every file their and when it says the file is corrupt then replace it with a working sound file. Then it will work.

it says on gamecopy world to download the Fixed EXE crack, dont mater if its deviance then copy the whole audio folder from disc to into the folder onthe hdd then it should work, ive not done it yet i simply just insert disk 2 and it runs fine.

If you are running XP get the patch from microsoft, this will fix the chuncky graphics problem,
