my new graphics card dimond stealth iii 32mb doesnt work when i replace my old nvidia 16mb one, the descktop loads, then pc crashes..

Please tell what OS your using.

start the pc up in safe mode and reset the graphics card to standard vga. then shut the pc down. then restart the computer and then the computer should start looking for new drivers. at the moment your computer still thinks the old graphics card is still in the machine.
