I want to install this on my pc that has win98se. after I install it, what patches should I download? I see like a lot of them when I go to the update website. Thanks

From within Word or Excel you should find a web link under help.

I think your version should show "Microsoft Office on the Web"

From this link you can get MS to scan your applications for suggested updates and patches from which you can either accept or decline.

If these are part of the Office 97 suite, then theres two patches for them, SR1a and SR2, you can download them from the MS site under download.

Thanks for the reply guys. It is part of the Office 97 package. All I have is disk 1. I cant find disk 2 with Outlook 97 on it. It says on the disk sp1 i think. Its been awhile since I looked at the disk. Thanks for the help guys. I just being my paranoid self again. I havent had much luck with anything lately. I had win xp on my pc but GTA3 kept crashing so I installed win98se and it works fine now. thanks again.

If I remember correctly, Office-97 Suite comes on 1 CD only, and this includes everything, whereby, the Professional version includes also Access.

When I try and put outlook on my pc, it says put in disk 2. I'm at work right now. When I get home, I will try it out and sere if it asks for the 2nd disk like before. Thanks
