For example. RTCW cd key. How many people need to have it before it gets banned. How can they tell? If only two people are using the cd key, can they figure this out? I figure it would take a lot more than two people.

How about soldier of forturne 2. Same case. ??? (I'm referring to online play by the way)

Thanks

I guess 2 people logging in at the same time would be enough. They probably also search the net for CD keys to blacklist.

In the soldier of fortune 2 case, u can get a CD-Key generator, and keep on trying to create a key, at some time u should hit a working key...but this takes time!

Or you can just patch the EXE so your cdkey Validates all the time :D

I will let you off with a warning, because perhaps you were a little confused. But such a patch is definatly against the rules here.

Cracks/patches to enable you to make a backup of a game you own are ok, but if you do own it, then you have a valid CD key.

I'm closing this now, incase anyone else is "confused".
