Here's the deal. I'm trying to backup a game, and I have a no cd patch for it. I use clonecd and I already have the image of the game. Problem is I have the patch that I'd like to put in a folder on the game too. How do I add this folder with the no cd patch in it to an .img file that is already created? Thanks for the help ahead of time!

Use ISOBuster to extract the files from the image to a folder on your hard disk (eg, C:\Game Image).
Then add required folder\files (eg, C:\Game Image\Patch).
Then burn contents of folder (C:\Game Image) back to CD.

Cheers.

The best way to apply a patch to a game is to use CDRwin (arguably)
If you go to goldenhawk technology website, download the evaluation copy of the latest CDRwin.
Go to PSX backup world and download a program called PPF-O-Matic (PPF - Stands for Playstation Protection Fix), and the patch you require.

CDrwin evaluation will only work at 1X but you only need to crack a game once.
Insert source CD (PSX Game), click on CDRwin/ extract Disc/tracks/sectors.
When it's done it's thing you will end up with a Bin and a Cue file.
Open PPF-O-Matic, you will see 2 boxes, one for your Bin file and one for your patch.
Place the appropriate files in each window then click "Apply".
your ISO image (bin file) will now be patched.
Open up CDRwin and click on "Record Disc", insert a blank, load the Cue File (wherever you located it) and click Record.
Hopefully you should end up with a Patched game that you can copy straight from in the future.
Hope i've not missed out any info...email me if you get stuck
