Quick question fellas:
What program can burn .img files? Can Nero do it? Also, is it a stand alone file that can be burned, or does it need another file, the same way that a .bin needs a .cue?

IMG files are part of the Clone CD CCD/IMG/SUB set. Nero can burn them, although you may need to crack the game if it was protected.
