Is it true that you can use downloaded gameboy advanced games from the net on the flash advance linker and flash cards. Or is it different if you rip the info right off the cart please let me know before i go and buy one.

Yes, you can play downloaded ROM images with the flash advance. You can also rip the ROM images from original cartridges with it.
