I want to play Quake 3 ARENA online. I have a copy of it with some serial Key. What patches or files do I need to play it online,if any?:furious:

All you need is a unique serial key. Any patch that allowed you to bypass having a serial, would be a breach of the rules.

It has to be a serial no that has actually been issued, which is why key gens dont work for online (unless you get lucky). There are a few servers though that dont actually check your sn

ive heard that they stopped checking the cd keys for that game... and i know for a fact they didn't check back in like november... i justed used like all 2's or all 7's as my cd key.. and it worked fine.. try that.... otherwise, sometimes the keygen's work... they worked for me a lot of the time..
