I have a ps2 with a neo 2.2 and i was wondering if i need to un solder it before plugging in a p and p chip? Or if i can leave it i like a combo??

i believe you can leave it in, but i never heard of a neo2.2 and pnp combo

Why would you remove a Neo 2.2 for a Pnp no-solder mod. The Neo 2.2 is much better that the pnp. The Pnp doesn't play all games, like DVD-Rips over 71mins-620mb. You should keep your Neo 2.2, they do play DVDR games. You can plug in a Pnp without removing a Neo 2.2 though.

leave your neo 2.2 on. I havent heard of a Neo 2.2 with a PNP mod, because theres no point in doing it. People do a Neo key with PNP in order to play dvdr games.

its only worth it if you have a V5 and above PS2 since it would also leave your USB ports free for keyboards modems etc
