can xbox dvdr backups be copied to dvdr?or are these like originals were they will not read?all my dvdr backups of xbox wont pickup on the dvdrom.

hi m8 the best disk to use is something called bulk dvdr
it sounds like you got a crap dvd drive and its not booting the games up
a lot of people who have bought the xbox in the uk some have been lucky
and got a good dvd rom driver
and others not so lucky

i know there is a mod for taking out the xbox dvd drive and putting your
own in but will only boot up backup xbox games not the real ones
not sure if u got to have the dvd still connected

all so there is a mod to up the lazer of the dvd drive to read the disk
but that can damage the driver itself after i would think 3months
but i would not do that

yes, you can copy backups but not originals

when i say they wont read i mean on the pc to make bacups for freinds.just wonderd if dvdr backups are like the originals were the pc wont read them.or should the dvdrom on the pc read them?

hi m8 if u want to do a copy of the dvdr xbox backup it should work no problem but u will have to use a dvd writer to copy the disk and to read
it in
your pc will not read the disks only if they are cdrw games of the xbox
then no problem at all

so i need to put the xbox dvdr backup in the dvd writer and read it to the hard drive first?
because they will not pickup in my dvdrom drive.
