I've got a problem with my cd tray

i've taken the 4 screws out

The case is loose now but isn't coming off! i don't wanna force it in case i break any pegs inside

which direction does it go??

somebody please help cos i really don't wanna break my ps2 any more than it is already

it seems to be sticking where the warranty sticker used to be

any info greatly appreciated

well to get it off first you take it to dinner then back to your place with some music etc

anyway on the serious side, turn your ps2 upside down and there will be rubber and plastic squares (about 8/10 depending on ps2 model) remove those squares and unscrew the screws beneath them

lol, psibob84.
hey PCP be careful when you do remove the cover as not to damage the ribbon cable connected to the reset/eject buttons.

Hey you can get a step by step manual on taking apart your PS2 at kyamodchips.com.

Thanks guys, before i got a chance to read the repiles i realised about the little black squares...talk about feeling stupid!!

And then i almost pulled the ribbon cable out, but everything went well and now my ps2 is fully operational.
