I think I have a Enigmah beta chip.

Which games are gonna need patching?

Found that Project Gotham and Crash Bandicoot donr work properly but cant confirm that this is due to beta chip.

Also where would a bloke obtain such patches?

Thanks for looking in

Dont be too hasty, I have a bad 1, might just be a bad rip. I have another larger (in file size) rip on the way.
The rip I have is deffo dud though as it almost works but then crashes. I have reburned with loads of media and it's still no good. The version I have is about 300 and something MB extracted, the one on the way is 600+ so I will try that and see.
As far as I can see there is no patch for the smaller crash that I currently have.

I have an enigmah beta, and I can't get any of these to work:

Crash_Bandicoot_The_Wrath_of_Cortex_Rip_XBOX-ALPAX
Ralli_Sport_Challenge_PAL_Rip_XBOX-WAM
F1_2002_Rip_PAL_XBOX-WAM
Outlaw_Golf_CdVersion_XBOX-RIOT

Has anyone else experienced problems with these? The other 15 games I've burned all play fine. I used "Smart Buy" CD-RW's from Compusa ($8 for 50) and they seem to be very compatible.

On a side note, I didn't realize I was getting a beta chip when I ordered it from gamegizmos. Only after stuff failed to boot did I realize this. Also, it was supposed to be socketed, but is hardwired to the PCB.

Sorry, that should have been $8 for 25 CDRW's.

Excuse my ignorance (it's sometimes bliss).

How does one apply a patch - I have some that don't work + patch but no idea what to do with it.

Thanks

Hmmm.... okay well the version I have is by Project X so it may be different as this is over 800mb...... not the 300mb version by Alpax.... so let me know if you have any luck Danman... as this is probably the same version that you have. Thanks again.
