Each time I try to access my dvd drive, I get the dialogue box stating another application is blocking use of the drive. I'm a neophyte and can't solve this problem. If you have an answer, make it simple. Thanks.:confused:

Best advice to offer is open the Task Manager hit CTRL, ALT DELETE and see what is running in the background and close each program one by one.

Then you should find out what is causing the problem
