I recently recieved two beta enigmah mods and i dont know if i should sell them or keep them. Iwas told the only differance is that i doesnt remove macrovision. What would u guys recommend me to do sell them and buy the final version or keep them and insatall them on my xbox.

The beta also needed patch for 3 games and the final does not.

I think that I installed the same ones in my xbx 3 weeks ago and it works great, I played it for 6 hours straight with no hickups. I dont really care for the 3 games that need patching and why would I want to put my dvd movies on vhs so if you plan on using it for your backups then install it. I cant tell if the one I have is beta but I think it is, but Im not gonna hookup my xbx to my vcr anyways so hook it up and play on brother. my 2 cents L8R

i too have a beta, wot i plan to do is keep it for a while if many many games come out that need patching then i will get a enigmah final when they av been out for ages so the price comes right down!

think how easy it would be to desolder just the chip (leave the wires soldered to the mobo) and rejoin the wires to the enigmah pcb!

Is it just a case of resoldering on the wires that have previously been installed then?

Out of interest which games need patching on the Enigmah beta chip !

007 needs patching (not sure about the rest) - i have installed lots of Beta chips m8 and have yet to have someone report a problem - they seem to work fine

thats right mate, all u need to do is leave the wires soldered to the mobo alone and swap from the bare leg mod to the pcb pads!

wtf did they make all these beta chips for, there seems to be more betas about than finals
