i was downloading this game off of newsgroups and when it finished it was in a txt format instead of a rar... i'm not sure what it is but i think somthinwith the encryption?.. can somone explain to me what the yEnc means?.

it's a type of encoding. if you're getting a bunch of text, your newsreader probably isn't compatible. look here, www.yenc.org
