RUNTiME has released a xbox media player (supports most formats) and it works with ur own movies insted of the samples unlike earlier releases, but the best thing about it is it can stream media from a LAN!!!

i dont think this is a final version but it is a really exciting sign of things to come!

can you just swap discs or does it have to be in a special format like the DC did?

no u cant swap discs u have to burn with the player!

but if u have a nic card and a x-over cable just stream!

of all the brainwaves ppl could of come up with, streaming media from ur pc's HD is such a good idea, if ur HD's big enough u dont even have to bother burning at all!!!

that sucks you have to reburn all your divx movies to watch them on the xbox. maybe they can replace the 80000000 with the 80000007 so the XBox won't have to restart when the disc tray is open.

it may still come, i think its still a beat at the moment!
