i have a router and it doesn't let me be a host of this game. the game is called medal of honor. i waz told by some of my friends that i can put the port number in the router settings but i don't understand them. can someone help.

Perhaps try having a look HERE (http://www.homenethelp.com/web/howto/game-behind-router.asp). You need to open the ports that the game uses. If that doesn't work you might need to enable DMZ instead. Exactly how you do this depends upon the make and model of your router. If you can provide us with that information, I'm sure that someone will be able to help you.
