If you are asking where to get warez or get the software without paying, you are in the wrong place.

I recommend you read The Rules (http://www.cdrom-guide.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=136)

This site does not permit the posting of content, questions or advice regarding serials, cracks, warez, pornography, stolen software, or links to sites containing such content. Inappropriate and off topic posts will be deleted immediately. Repeat offenders will be banned from using these forums.

I have heard some talk that their Australian page has a link to the full version of the software. I think it is an upgrade that lets you do a full install or something along those lines. I haven't looked myself though. If you want that, I recommend going to that site and doing some digging. . .

Anyways, as you can see, requests for software are not allowed here, so I am closing this...

aharvey,

I reopened this... Looks like you are in luck...

If you haven't seen it already, check out Taxidermista's post here. (http://www.cdrom-guide.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=123545)

They have PrimoDVD 2.08 there for free!!

Grab it while it lasts. I just did. :D

Thanks again Taxidermista for the link.

Yes, but as we discussed last time this occured, aharvey, did not ask if it were available for free. In future make it 100% clear when you are asking for links to apps or you will find yourself suspended.

Yes, Pioneer Australia give it away for free, this is nothing new it has been on their site for at least a month or two, but you must make sure that you make what you are actually requesting 100% clear.

Yes,

Celtic is right here. I should be a bit more clear as well. From this point on, any posts that I see asking for copyrighted software that do not specifically mention a situation such as this one with Pioneer Australia will be closed and the offending member suspended. The burden is on the poster to make sure that he/she is perfectly clear on what is being asked for. Posts that appear to ask for warez will be dealt with according to the rules.

See, it is really not that hard. If you think, "Gee, I know I heard PrimoDVD is available for free somewhere," then you could start a topic with the subject, "Did I see Primo-DVD available for free somewhere?" Such a topic is fine. Companies screw up and give their software away... sometimes they do it on purpose for a limited time. Anyways, wanting that info is fine. But, if you are thinking, "Gee, I wonder where I could get an illegal warez copy of PrimoDVD for free...," then you should do look elsewhere. There are so many places to find such things online. This place is not one of them. These rules are not in place to keep people from getting what they are looking for. BUT, this is a place to come and learn a few things, and to share what you have learned with others. Sites heavy in warez content have a tendency to get shut down... We do not want that happening here. There was a time a long while ago when this site allowed such things here. Those in charge decided to focus on making cdrom-guide a place to learn and help one another. In order to do that, they had to get rid of warez, just to make sure the place stays open...

So, I say all that to say this -

No More Questionable Requests. If you think you have a a legitimate request for software, make the post 100% clear that you are not asking for something that violates the rules. Otherwise, you will find yourself suspended. I have been rather lax about this myself, but for the sake of being consistent and keeping this place running how it should, that will need to change. No one wants to ban/suspend users, close posts, etc. We just have to do our job so that this place can stay great!

Make sense?? Good. :D

You all get back to reading more interesting posts now!!

OK. I tireid the link and it is not there. I would be happy to purchase the software (I just paid nearly $500 for my HP burner) but as you know it is only sold by Veritas to it's partners. Does anyone know how to obtain, legaly, PrimoDVD?

Here ya go: http://www.stompinc.com/recordnowmax/rnmx-retail.phtml?stp

Not quite Primo DVD, don't think that you can actually buy it anymore, but it is the same engine, with an upgraded user interface.
