Finally decided to take the plunge, and have an Xbox chipped with the final Enigmah.. are there any downsides to this? Can this chip be detected and future games therefore not work?
Sorry if this has been asked before!

In short. Nobody knows what the future holds. They certainly will not destroy your XBox that would be illegal. I think at most they may stop games working on a chipped maching but the release groups will sort that out. They may also start using CD keys with games to play online, that would seem most sensible to me.
Guess we will have to wait and see
Peace mate

if they do start using "keys" for online gaming, then you'll see hacked/rogue servers start springing up that don't require a "key". isn't that the way it's always been?
