Hey I have a compaq notebook. Its amd 950, 128mb ram, 20gb hdd (about 3-4 free space now), and has a s3 graphics twister k compaq vid card (16 mb).

It was great with games like cs before, but now when playing cs the frame freezes for like a milli second every 30 seconds or so... I dunno why, but this started only recently... any ideas why that is? Re-installing the drivers for the vd card will make a diff?

Now even having the "window contents shown while dragging" feature is slow, i.e. the graphics in the window is VERY laggy....

Yeah, I have this problem too with mine.....I think it has something to do with the amount of programs I have installed and all the loose dll's.....who knows?

No idea on how to fix it ... without doing a full format?
