I have tried to get Cd-R and CDRW to work on this DVD player and no luck. It says that it plays VCDs and a lot of people say it can but I still can't get it to work. Can someone help?

Are your burning mpeg1 files? What burning software are you using?

for all sammy dvd players,you should use the following cdrs

sirius cdrs (get them from computer fairs)
superior cds (comp fair)
vivastar cdrs (Argos)

i think their is a few more but donot now the names
but the 3 i have named do work as i havs a sammy 709,and their work fine

and you should copy a x2 speed for the best results
