Can someone pls explain to me why mr sporty's BIOS
needs to be splitted if the EPROM is less than
8Mb? I burnt the .BIN file onto
a 27C2001 (2Mb) EPROM and it fit without a prob.
However, I haven't tried the EPROM yet. Do I
need to burn the .BIN file again? How do I split
it and why?

never mind. i'd figured it out. the .BIN repeats itself 4 times.
so all i need was 0-3FFFF for a 2Mb chip.

when you split the mr sporty bios or the xtender bios v1.1, you need to take the last image whether it's .002, or .004 That's the file that has what you need in the eprom chip. :tup:

does it matter if i take the first or last since the code was
mirrored four times? i took the first 0-3FFFF instead. didn't
try the EPROM yet.
