neokeyrulerz Jun 17, 2002, 11:13 AM Hi, if i open up my x-box to install a modchips but i mess it up/damaging, can i just put it back together and return it for a refund??? clickart Jun 17, 2002, 11:34 AM You can't refund because you already have your xbox open. If you bought it in 30 days than you can exchange and get a new one. But some store require you to call Microsoft. Cal_G_UK Jun 17, 2002, 11:39 AM If you get the stickers off perfectly (not easy) and you have the skill to remove the chip and every bit of solder you have added (not easy obviously!) then you could give it a go. I have never seen any posts about this so i can not recommend you do it. A pro installer may to be able to answer your question mate. Keep the post near the top so people can see it easily. peace mate Cal_G backup2k1 Jun 17, 2002, 11:52 AM to remove the sticker use a hair dryer its that easy its worth getting the xbox mod if it works fine if it goes down u simply take the chip out take it back to where u bought it from or swap it backup2k1(the name u can trust) mitsu50 Jun 17, 2002, 12:38 PM Originally posted by neokeyrulerz Hi, if i open up my x-box to install a modchips but i mess it up/damaging, can i just put it back together and return it for a refund??? stop posting useless stuff... you've already been suspended for 1 week, which will take effect some time today, dont make me set it to permanent ban... |
