Please no suggestions to scan for viruses, trojans I know for a fact they are not. Any help appreciated.

It would certainly help if you told us what processes you are talking about, m8!

Anyway, in Win98 only two processes are really necessary for the OS to work. These are systray and explorer.
If you have any others, tell us their name, and we shall tell you who they are. :D

The processes are as stated above. Ill go into a bit more detail I first noticed the 1st process on a fresh install of win 98 se a while ago know. Nothing else had been installed on the machine apart from device drivers, I had a lock up and had to ctrl+alt+del when i got this application is busy with the wait end task option. Im now running win me Today I ran my trojan scanner software which is trojan 1st aid kit and used the show all windows options which the open widows included the 2 Processes stated above.

The 2nd process seems to be associated with blueyonders (my isp) internet software Im using an old version of it. The blueyonder software runs at startup when I close it the 2nd process closes also.
