I made a dvdr from some vcds i had. To convert it from vcd to dvdr i followed this method:

Extract .dat files and join in tmpg, giving me a .mpg file
Convert it to mpeg 2 with 48000hz audio using tmpg
Author dvd using ulead dvd movie factory, but not burning, just giving me a video ts folder with vobs etc in and an audio ts folder
Burn using prassi onto a 3rd gen datasafe disc

It plays fine in my pc and on my dvd player, but the video skips all the time on my v5 ps2. Any ideas what went wrong? I doubt its the media, i think its something wrong with the encoding but dont know what
