Volume control used to load but I installed a different driver for my soundcard and the driver came with its own volume control program that replaced the windows vol control. This new driver didnt work so I reverted back to the old driver and now the vol control wont load with windows. How do I fix this?

Only thing I can think of is go to control panel, sounds and multimedia and on the sounds tab at the bottom there is the option to show the icon on startup.

"Show volume control on taskbar" need to be ticked as the above member mentioned in control panel (sound & mulimedia), providing your sound drivers are installed properly.
