View Full Version : Anyone heard of CD Master Gen 4 DVD-R ?

Seen the above on offer at Bowlers this morning.Unbranded with a plain white top.Curiosity got the better and i bought some to try out.Described as the dogs bollox by the stallholder.Just wondered if anyone has heard about or had some and what results did u get.

near enough the same as Gen 2 FWS unbranded but with a slightly thicker dye.

Used 4 and the results r fine.Backed up a verb backup and the picture definition appears better. May b wishfull thinking but seems that way. Somone else must have bought some?

they are unbranded traxdata made in same factory

I bought one from the fair in bradford.. Also described as **** hot by the stall holder.... It works ok but I was looking for a cheap enough disc that would write at 2x in my pioneer 104... Only certain media certified by pioneer will work and they are £3.75 each... Verbs

I bought some of these and have been trying them on various brands of stand alone players with better results of any other discs (FWS,NEO,white label) ,also recommended for films and games on both X-box and PS2 from a mate

i thought they was no generation 4???

the only ones that claimed to be generation 4 were the neo disks but they're just really good generation 3

dont know where i read that if i rememeber ill stick the link here
