Sorry to sound lame but all this PS2 is new to me ! - nephew wants his PS2
chipping with Neo 2.2 - chipperman at comp show today told us the Neo 2.2 with boot cd plays ALL backups except dvd-r ones ... or did he leave something out ?

well..neo plays ALL backups..even DVDRs...and u also have to have a gameshark 2 disc with the neo 2.2 to load ur backups...and there are ofcourse different ways to load backups.

I have a neo2.2 installed,and if you don't mind holding reset during the whole swapping process(maybe half a minute or so) then you'll love it.It plays all my backups,and doesn't give me any problems.Go for it dude.

If I had to do it all over again I would have waited on my Neo2.2 for a Neo4 or a new Nova chip but that's just me...... (I could have done better as you could too.) Take care, CFizz
