OK, here is the story. I just bought a Pre-mod Messiah PS2 from a guy on another board (PS2ownz). It was a v4 that had the laser die within 2 weeks and he replaced with a v5 laser. I got it yesterday and the box was PERFECT so it had not been damaged. I plugged it in and NOTHING! No power, no nothing. It appeared not to be the original PS2 cord so I borrowed a friends, still NOTHING. It is completely DOA. He somehow thinks it is MY fault but I didnt do anything but plug it in. He says I can send it back and he will determine whether I deserve a refund or not but will not refund any shipping or paypal fees. That means I am out $40-$50 for nothing. Could this be an easy fix? Any ideas??? THANKS!!!!!!!

Make sure all the power plugs are plug directly into the Mobo.

chech and see if the ribbon cables are connected
