Not too long ago, I bought two 50 packs at $2.99 each after rebate. And they're Maxell, Imation, FujiFilm, Sony... brands, not the unbranded. I check Best Buy Website (www.bestbuy.com) every week and when they have the sales that I find on the Website, I then will go to the local Best Buy to get the discs. lhaney Jun 22, 2002, 09:20 PM That is true sometimes, but right now, in chicago, you cannot buy more than (1) 50 pack with a rebate, and the normal price for imation 50 is $19-$27 bux. Fujifilm is $27 as well. So that 1st 50 pack may be just 4.99, but the rest, cost regular price. Plus rebates take forever. This sale is unlimited 12.99 before rebate, which makes it $7.99 (but you can only do it once.) So for people that buy between 5-10 50 packs at once, this is cheap for us in chicago. Van Nugent Jun 22, 2002, 09:57 PM I normally buy 5 packs at a time using 5 different addresses: My home, my work, my family members' because it's true that they limit 1 or 2 rebates per household. And I just get the CDs when they have the sales to stock up. Rebates normally take me b/w 20 days to 1 month when I register the rebates on-line and that's OK to me. lhaney Jun 22, 2002, 10:04 PM That's a great idea. I need to stock up using that method...everytime I turn around, i'm out of discs!!!! |
