about 5 to 6 years ago i remember seeing a technology being advertised on the home shopping network that allowed you to transmit and receive data through the same radio waves that television broadcasts are sent. on the show it showed microsoft office being downloaded in a matter of 20-30 seconds and on an acompanying television all you saw were the usual "tv snow" that you see when you cannot receive a station.
i thought that was cool, but since then i have yet to see anything on the market that resembles that. cable, dsl, t1, t3, etc. are all good but don't we have the technology to do what i saw on tv?
if anyone else knows what i might have seen or if there is a technology like this, i would greatly appreciate their input.
thank you.
