First I would like to say hello to all members seeing this is my first post. You'll probably catch me snooping around often enough though. I'll try to contribute as much as possible to this forum with the limited knowledge I have.

The questions I have now are if anybody knows the difference between the 2 lite-on drives ltr-48125W and the ltr-48126s. It is not clear from the information they provide on their website. My other question is if anybody knows where i can find reviews of these drives other than those from their own website. I'd prefer to get an unbiased opinion of these drives.

Thnx.:gabby:

Welcome Kibaima

A good place to start looking is Hoss's 'sticky' at the top of this forum.

(Thanks Hoss, saved me a lot of time, money & effort in finding a new CD-RW)

The 48126 would have the new mediatek chipset. It should therefor be firmware upgradable to rewrite at 20x. Also I think it may write using CAV instead of P-CAV.
