My CDRW is'nt found by XP and it won't let programs like CDRWIN or Adaptec burn CD's.

Please help

Does it show up in Windows Explorer? Do you see it in Device Manager and is there a yellow ! next to it in Device Manager?

Download ASPI v.4.71 (http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/support/drivers_by_product.html?cat=/Product/ASPI-4.70) and update your ASPI layer. There are 2 versions on that page, v.4.70 & v.4.71. Get the latest one 4.71.
