View Full Version : can u modify Lite on 24x writer?

i read somewhere that if u have a version made after a certain time that u can install new firmware or modify the firmware to make it run at 32x is this true?

if so can anyone shed some light on this?

If it is a 24103 then it can be upgraded to a 32123.

Well yes, generally that is true. But in this case we normally make an exception because OC-Freak who Mod's that forum is a genius on ALL things LiteOn and if a member can get an answer to a specific question like this then we allow this. ;)

And of course OC-Freak has been a prolific member here also for many a year too. :tup:

Well, I'm glad it's ok. I have seen links to the CDfreaks forum before, so I assumed it was fine. And besides, its an exact answer to his question, as was mentioned.
