I just installed my enigmah chip and I did have a slight problem when i first connected it i had a red green flashing light so I took it apart and found a small sliver of solder that was bridging to wires on the chip pcb. Now that that is fixed the xbox runs fine but the first game i downloaded and burned wont boot up.

I'm trying different things out and I'm using cdr's and also trying rw's

My question is this. If my xbox is running right then my chip IS correctly installed right? I mean can it run right if the chips not installed correctly?

if it boots its installed correctly i think.... not sure about enigmah.... i heard it just patches code and doesent disable the orignal bios. try the video mode selector on an rw, burn at 2x and make sure you have it set to mode 1.

what software I've tried nero and fireburner can't get it to work

nero wouldnt work for me either... i always use cdr win... works perfectly every time. ;) file backup, and tools tab, record an iso 9660 image file, make sure mode 1 is set and burn slow.

I used DJ with my Plextor and Burnt Cell Damage on a CD-RW...it was my first Xbox burn and works fine....

Plasdaq what setting did you use on Discjuggler?

Forget all that, the only software you need is Prassi primo DVD, it is simple to use and has never let me down yet. Dont bother with CDR they dont work, CDRW work but dont boot every time.

use Prassi and see if thats works is the best advice i can give ya.
