Hey everyone:

I wanted to solder a chip to my first Xbox, which I am ordering next week. I think I'll go for the Xtender chip...but anyway....

I wanted to know what soldering items I need to get (type of gun, type of solder, and anything else that should be necessary).

I saw posted on here that you should use solder paste, which I was going to look for on Ebay, along with the other items.

I actaully found a place that has a "beginners soldering kit" but it looks rather cheapy.

Any help will greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

Goto www.antex.co.uk and buy a small tipped solder iron , 0.12mm tip, solder iron costs 20quid with the extra tip, excellent for soldering your xbox m8, used it to do mine and i have never soldered before :).
Also buy a stand, i never and they will be usefull,
