CO Spree8nyk8 Jun 29, 2002, 06:35 PM is there a way to test the chip? newdurango Jun 29, 2002, 06:46 PM try playing one of your backups. handyguy Jun 29, 2002, 07:29 PM Your xbox is supposed to work fine once the chip is in. Spree8nyk8 Jun 29, 2002, 08:37 PM I have tried it several times and i couldn't make it work. I couldn't even read a burned audio disk. So i'm at odds. The box works fine on all regular games but can't boot anything burned. All i get is an error message saying unrecognized disk. No xbox logo prior or anything. So I'm just stuck here. respectrayallen34 Jun 29, 2002, 08:52 PM are you using cdr? Sounds like cdr if you cant read a burned audio disc. Try Cdrw handyguy Jun 30, 2002, 10:34 AM Try buying a dvdr from someone that they know works & use that. CO marvelguy68 Jun 30, 2002, 07:20 PM hey, i had the beta chip in mine, hooked up correctly, and it didnt boot all the games, just some of them. find a reputable dealer, buy wsb2k3 from him on dvdr. it should work no matter what chip u have, if its correct. if its a bad chip, your box shouldnt be working at all. |
