View Full Version : Which DVD games have protection?

glensout2002 Jun 29, 2002, 07:37 PM I understand that some DVD games have protection on them (mike Tyson Boxing). How do you do a DVD-R backup? If there is a patch available to do this, where do you get them from? I normally use PRASSI Primo DVD. Also how do you patch a DVD image? I maybe getting ahead of myself here. Someone give me the full lowdown. Thanks in advance Glen Jaice Jun 29, 2002, 08:46 PM Depeds on what type of protection your talking. The FADE protection is only used, in a few games. There no way around it, the DVD check protection is used on all DVD based games. glensout2002 Jun 29, 2002, 08:54 PM I have a Messiah chip. So I do a straight back-up. So it is just the FADE games that you can't back up currently? I have never had a problem with the EA games. Keep me informed.
