Has anyone sucessfully gotten the GSL to boot up a PS1 games with codes? I'm able to boot up the GSL no problem, but each time I try to use codes the game never works :(

This is what I do:
Turn on my Sbox
Insert GSL (It boots no prob, and I have a Memory card inserted to use as a dongle)
Pick my game and codes
Gets to the "Insert game screen"
I open the cd tray, replace the GSL with my game, close the tray and press "X"

Anyone with advice or alternate boot methods, please feel free to post!

I used gamesharkl lite with triple play 2001(?) backup. The one where you can play on mars. Codes worked fine for me in my PS2

GSL is for the psx or so I was told.

Gman, do you have a regular PSX memory card in the slot? Because that is whats needed to boot the game up with the codes. Just the GSL wont do it.

I have one of those double sided "Performance" memory cards and the game saves on the memory card are the games in which I wish to use the codes on. Any other help?
