hello all. i'm trying to urn an iso with cdrwin, i get this error
"error: File length is not a multiple f the CDROM sector size"
this iso is supposed to be burned in the following fashion...
"Record an ISO9660 Image File"
"CDROM-XA", "Mode 2"
"finalize/close session"
"write postgap"
any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got the same problem once with an iso I made. I just opened it up with Nero, and Nero asked me if I wanted to fix the iso. I selected yes and then picked the sector size. It burned fine and the disc works great.
I know its not the best solution, but hey, it works

Mode 2 Form 1 has 2048 bytes/sector, 12 bytes for Sync, 4 bytes for Header, 8 bytes for SubHeader, 276 bytes for Error Correction Code (ECC), and 4 bytes for Error Detection Code (EDC). Mode 2 Form 2 has 2324 bytes/sector, similar to Form 1 but has no ECC so it only is suitable for data where errors can be concealed such as audio & video burning.
Normally, if any file is not an exact multiple of the CDROM sector size then the last sector will be automatically padded with zeros, which may give you a small gap between tracks. Set CDRWin as it instructs you (in your 1st post) and I think you'll be able to burn the image.

thank you van nugent, but i got that error when i set cdrwin to the above settings, nero has a featre that will correct the sector size, but i don't know what to set the image header bytes and image trailer bytes to:confused: or for that matter what it means.

Try 0 for both image header & trailer. The feature that would correct the sector size is the padding feature I mentioned above.
The latest CDRWin version is 3.9A. If your version is earlier than 3.9A, consider downloading it.
DiscJuggler (http://www.padus.com/downloads/demo.php) is a good burnware that can handle ISO's pretty well, too.
