You can send the $1 to the webmaster of that webpage. :) zedy Jun 30, 2002, 09:57 PM AGP stands for Accelerated Graphics Port, so unless soundcards are now video cards an AGP slot is not required. blinker4182 Jul 13, 2002, 01:52 PM that's exactly what i was thinking. the only thing you have to worry about is if you have a free pci slot (that's all those white slots). like zedy said, agp is your accelerated graphics port (it is the brown one above all the pci slots). and that is where an agp video card goes. so if you have a free pci slot, which i'll bet you do, you are good to go. this should be all you need. enjoi! GodfatherUK Jul 13, 2002, 05:02 PM agp slot is for graphic cards only and pci is for general things like sound card, modem, usb connectors, etc cdcloner Jul 23, 2002, 08:47 PM hi m8, if you pc is less than 4 years old you are likely to have pci slots lol. |
