FWS Gen 2 White Label 3rd Gen or Silver topped Gen 3 From SVP (unbranded Datasafe Gen 3 I think)

All very good and all infinitely better than Bulkpaq, you pay a bit more but when you consider how many come back is it worth sc****** by?

I'm using unbranded gen 1 discs for my player and getting no failures ,bulkpaq aren't even being recognised and my player would recognise a tin lid if it had a spiral on it

I've got some Bulkpaq and I get skipping in movies.
Seem to be OK for data.
I'm now using Datasafe Gen3 and these have not skipped at all.
£1.52 each from wcwmedia.com.

Thats strange I have used Bulpaq for over 20 movies and have never had any skipping problems. I will continue to use them because at 59p each you cant go wrong. Mind you I am sure some hardware can be fussy, I am using a Dansai 852 & Pioneer 535 both decks 100% success.
Also the best thing about Bulpaq is that they record 100% on my Panasonic DMRE20 and thats a fussy machine that tends to want expensive media for recording

Hi, I'm pretty new to this and I've got a little problem. I ripped a DVD and it played just fine in Spruceup and everything. but after I burned it it played rather "jumpy" (not very smooth). The menu's was also pretty shitty. but the sound was great. I tested the dvd both on my standalone and on my two DVD-rom players.

What is the problem?

m8,

I have used Datasage Gen 3 Unbranded for movies and PS2 and they have played back fine (no jumping or skipping) on the PS2.

Also used FWS for movies and PS2 and again the results have been 100% succes.

Whitelabel Gen 3 have only used these for PS2 so far and had 100 success rate with them gonna try with movies when i get some more in but at £1:25

They seem to be the business, the dye has no runs unlike the FWS and the look exactly the same on the writing side as the Datasafe Gen 3 and the fact they are a little cheaper then the Datasafe and have a coloured top i prefer these but the Datasfae Gen 3 Branded is now available and eveyone seems to rave about these.

Just thought i would share my experiences with different media

Bulpaq may be crap but if they work 100% on movies for me and my mates why change especially since they are half the price of eveythging else

I ordered 3 Bulpaq the other day just for testing and guess what, my A04 wouldnt even burn to them cos they are that crap :D it spat them out straight away, all 3 of them

I got 20 DataSafe Gen 3 at the same time and these have been perfect, the A04 seems to have no problems with these, i burned an Xbox game last night to one of the dataSafe and it worked 100% perfect. get what you pay for is right, stay away from Bulcrap, the name says it all.

Can people using the A04 please have a look at my post just to confirm something please.

many thanks

My A04 burns the Bulkcrap, they sometimes read in my player and sometimes I get "Bad Disc"
Not worth the hassle of burning for nearly an hour and then the disc is shite.
Whitelabel or 3rd Gen Datasafe...the tops.
Got 12 Bulkpaq to trade if anyone wants em??

Bulkpaq for 59p each!!

Just ordered 100 from below at under 20p each including delivery!

Looking at the discs they do not look that good a quality but the 2 I have burnt play fine. Not tried a VCD yet though

MicoMan, I think you are talking about the supposed 40X 80min CDR's.. This is the DVD forum, so of course everyone else is talking about DVD's.

I have heard nothing good about bulkpaq CDR's. Also I doubt there is a drive that can write them at 40x.
