Hi

Just now I copied Blade 2 VCD onto DVD using the methods described on vcdhelp.com which involve using SpruceUP etc. It works fine on my dvd players its just that when I play in PS2 the picture is very blocky and kind of white, it looks as though the brightness has been turned up REALLY high...could there be any reason for this?
The only problem I had when copying the files from Video_TS to Nero was that the .LAY file wouldnt copy. Would this make an difference?

Its copied in PAL format......um I dont know what else there is to say. PS2 is PAL.....

If anyone can help that would be great.

I`ve not got a PS2 but what disks are you using to burn, best results seem to be with Gen 3 media, datasafe or White Label seem to be a good start.

I had the same problem with nero, I now use Prassi which I find much better, theres a post somwhere on the forums with a link to a free version available.

did u put a menu at the start of the movie if so thats whats wrong.if i put a menu in a dvdr that u converted from vcd it does that try it with out a menu u wont have to convert again use smartrip and rip the m2v and mp2 out
