Ive just installed my CD-RW into new computer running W-XP and it just wont work, was perfect in W-98,

Model: LG CED-8080B with original software ECDC v4.02c is there an update to enable it to function properly in XP...........any advice will be appreciated.

No, m8! EZCD 4.x is not XP compatible and there is NO update to make it work under XP. I'm afraid you'll need to purchase EZCD 5.x or try other burnware such as Nero (http://www.nero.com/en/index.html#download).

Ive added Nero5 v5.5 Software but doesnt seem to be compatable with this model of CD-RW....do you happen to know of any possible reason.... as an alternative would a newer unit such as the LG CED-8120B work alright in W-XP without any problems, thanks in advance.
