Ok, so today in the mail I got my Pioneer DVD-106S Drive. I ordered it online for about $50. It took about 3 minutes to install it (I got the idea from XBOX-SCENE.COM) and tried out the laoding techniques. Well, talk about INCREDIBLE.

Everything boots. CDRW's, CDR's... you name it. I am so happy now. So, if you are having problems booting games, check out that website and get this drive. Yes, even a CDR burned at 12X is playing flawlessly!!!!

dude....everyone knows it boots all sorta cds using a modchip, but the point is: UNLESS THEY FIND A WAY TO FIT IT INSIDE THE XBOX AND BEING ABLE TO CLOSE THE XBOX, I aint gonna get one :) And also, what about booting original xbox discs?!

A lot of rumors fly around and unless people try it and see for themselves they are always skeptical. So, don't be naive in saying everyone knows about it. I specifically stated which drive works and which types of media i used.

But, to answer your question about not closing the XBOX, well, I am sure everyone knows we live in a world full of wonderful resources. Either natural or manmade, I am sure we can find one of these resources to make a cover for our Xbox. I am figuring if they can send man into space, there will be a way to cover our Xbox. I hope I am not stepping out on a limb here

dude, my point is, unless u find a dvd drive that can fit in xbox & run original games, its old news! So to make a long story short, your news aint a news unless its something new :)
